General
At Bismutcode, we understand our responsibility towards the environment when developing and selling new products. The entire process, from product development to final production, generates waste and CO2 emissions that pollute our environment. Our goal is to reduce this environmental impact to an absolute minimum and actively promote sustainable products.
Raw materials
New and sustainable alternatives to traditional raw materials such as petroleum-based plastics are constantly being developed. For example, we rely on a plant fiber-based plastic that has little impact on the environment, both in its production and disposal. We fundamentally support such developments and are constantly on the lookout for new alternatives that we can use in our development and production processes to continuously reduce our environmental impact.
Electricity and energy
Energy production is a hidden carbon footprint in the development and production chain. Bismutcode primarily requires electricity, which we obtain from green energy sources whenever possible. If this is not possible, we use our carbon neutrality strategy to offset the carbon footprint.
CO2 neutrality
CO2 emissions cannot be completely avoided. For this reason, we are planning future investments and collaborations in the areas of sustainability and environmental protection. We are offsetting our unavoidable CO2 emissions by planting new trees.
